Stolen from the lovely maximuski because I'm obviously a massive lesbian

1. Bold the names of girls you'd definitely sex it up with.
2. Italicize the names of girls you might do after a little persuasion.
3. Leave the girls who don't do anything for you alone.
4. Put a question mark after the girls you've never heard of.
5. Strike the girls you wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole.
6. Add three more girls to the list.

Almost half way through with my epic quinn picspam and I must admit I have a new respect for people who make them all the time. It's not that they aren't fun, because well ... they are, but they are just so much work. But then I have given myself a full 13 episodes when most will only be doing one scene/episode ... hmm. Maybe in April you will just get weekly Quinn picspams, unless someone else comes in and it all beautiful and distracts me, which I don't see happening at the moment.

But anyways yes, I get the feeling this shall be the beginning of a very beautiful friendship between me and the world of picspams. I already want to make one of my favourite TV couples and jazz ... hopefully it should be fun. But the question is, would you guys want to see them if I did or would you get bored of seeing them pop up all the time?

In other news, I watched Purple Rain for the first time the other day. You know the Prince film. It was so funny and much better than I thought it was going to be. His 'acting' was so intense. Oh! And the mother f'cking Time were in it!! Now I am not a massive fan of them, only having heard (and loved) one song, but it I just kept thinking about Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and they even did the same dance and everything. It was amazing. And for anyone who has not heard them, see these awesome end credits from the film:

Plus check out that cast list man! If you haven't seen that film and like Kevin Smith sort of humour you NEED to see it already. I just cry with laughter the whole film and you know ELIZA DUSHKU IN LEATHER. And then see Dogma if you haven't seen that either because it's equally as amazing, but a smarter film over all.

Anyways, enough from me. OH EE OH EE OH!

(p.s. because I love them SO much,  if you've never listened to Fleetwood Mac ... GO NOW AND FIND SOME!)

Guess who is all done with Uni work and crap like that for a little bit? ... That's right, ME! Almost three weeks of not being my normal self on here and TA-DA it is all finished and I am able to be me again! I've felt like such a bad friend to people because I just disappeared one day and never really seemed to come back. But to all those who read this, and who I normally speak to on a more regular basis than once every two weeks, I'M SORRY BUT I'M BACK NOW! =D

In addition I was almost promoted to junior artist on Pandora's Closet (which is where I go to showcase all my graphicy goodness) and that has made me super happy too! Like, I have been a member there for a very long time and just narrowly missed the deadlines for promotion for about 4 months now and suddenly, I get a reminder from another member, manage to get it all in and BAM promoted finally! And to Junior as well! I wasn't expecting to be that high first time at all. It makes me all kinds of happy on the inside. xD

So to celebrate all this goodness I am off to work on that Quinn picspam (going through the episodes now to pick out my favourite Quinn moments <3) and making some pretty outfits over on www.polyvore.com. Which, by the way, if you haven't signed up on before you should do right now. I first found it when I was making outfits for RP characters on the numourous boards I join, but it's just such a fun way to pass the time. Like with a dream budget (and a dream body to wear them on) what would you wear? I have made many outfits in my time and I love every single one of them. This is me by the way. =D

affectations I took some snow pictures for you, I will post them up soon!)

I think that pretty much sums everything up. I have been pretty much nonexistant to the world of the internet at the moment and it sucks like all hell. I want to be here, I want to be able to catch up with people and be reliable and jazz but with my deadline still looming over me, and no more essay written thanks to a combination of work and sleeping too much I am starting to freak out!!

It has to be in Tuesday at 4pm, it is now Sunday night at 7pm and I have only got 400 words. 400/3000 IS NOT GOOD PEOPLE! *freaks out*

In other news, I managed to walk around Cardiff yesterday and today without slipping on the ice once! I was rather proud of myself considering my usual track record with ice and my feet. They do not really like to be friends at the best of times, and normally that relationship just gets worse when there are lots of people around to see me. I also discovered today that Heart of Life by John Mayer (or really any song from Continuum) is amazing to listen to when it's snowing. It just filled me all kinds of happy and content. Shame that didn't last up until now.

Right, off to make food and then crack on. Luckily I don't start Uni until 1pm tomorrow so I can have a late night of work tonight! *big thumbs up*

Hey ho! So i just got back from seeing Sherlock Holmes (like literally still in my hat/coat/scarf) and it was ammaaazing! The whole thing was so well done. From the performances to the cinematography, the costumes and sets were perfect (I couldn't stop looking at how pretty RMcAdams' dresses were!) just everything was very well done. I can see now why so many people loved it enough to see it more than once and I'm really glad it's lived up to my expectations. I'm not really all that well read about Holmes but when I first read about them working on it I couldn't help but get excited. In addition, I again couldn't help but notice the beauty of Rachel McAdams' skin. Is that a weird thing to notice? It's just in every film I see her in (the last before this being The Family Stone which I rather liked, despite the fact I thought I wouldn't) I can't help but wish I had her skin. It's so creamy and smooth and touchable looking. I will work out how to get my skin to look at that. It's the same as Anne Hathaway ... just very touchable looking skin. Aside from all this skin talk though, I did very much enjoy the film and would happily see it again.

I would also just like to add a little note to say thank you to everyone who has replied to my little getting to know you thing. I didn't expect people to be so eager but it means a lot to me that people actually want me to know them ... odd thing to say I know but still. I will reply to each of them separately tomorrow.

As for now however, I am off to my bed where I shall parttake in a DVD. Not sure which yet. I get the feeling I'll know it as soon as I see it. I have decided I have too many to pick from is my problem ... and I bought more today. *shameface* I cannot help myself. They are like drugs to me. I purchased the BBC adaption of Tess of the D'urbervilles (with Gemma Arterton <3), The Queen (with Michael Sheen <3) and the complete collection of Friends because let's face it ... who doesn't love Friends?! And it was only £32, I'd have been a fool not to get it.

Sidenote: I add the little hearts next to the actors not because that is the only reason I bought them but in this case these are the  films/tv series where I first saw and fell for them. They are both just so wonderful! I seriously couldn't see anyone else as Tess now and I cannot wait for her to play Cathy in Wuthering Heights even if it does look a bit worrying from the rest of the casting. I am hoping to be proved wrong. I know that Gemma can play that sort of character I just hope Ed can pull it out of the bag. If you have no idea what I am talking about see here. Originally Michael Fassbender was talked about and I can see how that have worked so much better. Perhaps I just need to see some more Gossip Girl, passed the first episode, to get a better feel for what he's like. After all, at this stage I am pretty biased because I know how amazing Fassbender is (thanks to Hunger in particular ... please watch it people) but I don't really have a sense of what Ed's performances are like.

Anyways, off to bed now as I say. I might post you up the full list of my DVDs (as it currently stands) to give you some impression of all the choices I have to make when I just want to watch a film.

Well hello hello. Today has had such a turn around for me I can't even tell you! When I woke up this morning I had a 3000 word essaying hanging over my head for Friday, no inspiration to write it, loads of snow outside my window without having the time to play with it and no time to see the people I love who returned back to Cardiff today or even think about coming on here and catching up with things ...

THEN I check my Uni emails and BAM! DEADLINE EXTENSION UNTIL TUESDAY! I cannot even begin to stress how amazing this all is! Because of the two snow days Uni has had our teacher has extended the deadline by two working days which gives us a total of FOUR extra days (inc. the weekend) to get everything done. I cannot even believe it. I am SO SO happy!

In addition to this, I got more happy when I made some new LJ friends today! So I just want to say a quick 'HELLO!' to my new friends, belle_tristikpols_icon, affectations and sunni_sideup who are all amazing and have fantastic taste ... thus why we are friends!

To coinside with all this happy I thought I would just start things with a little getting to know you, since it's been like ... never since I've done one and I'd like to get to know my flist better! This applies to all you senior Flisters too! So here we go ...
getting to know you ... gettng to know all about youCollapse )

In other news, I saw Nine last night and I am sad to say I wasn't impressed. Other than it looking really pretty and PCruz being adorable/sexy as usual, there was nothing in it that made me really enjoy being there. I went with two friends and there was not a single good review among us, bad times. HOWEVER it has made me start a BIG FILM LIST OF 2010 in which I am going to make note of everything I see this year. I will post it up as a separate post on here in a second, but yeah. That was pretty cool. I shall be seeing Sherlock Holmes later today, in about an hour actually, so I shall have to remember to add that when I get home.

I also finished watching Blackpool this week and it was amazing. I am so glad it ended the way it did. I was nervous in the final episode that not everything was going to turn out okay, but turns out I didn't need to be worried. It has also meant though that my love for David Tennant is still peaking, having yet to come down, which is nice. And it has also helped me discover that if I can't be Emma Thompson when I grow up, as I intend to, then I would happily settle for being Sarah Parish as a second option. She'd just so awesome in everything I see her in, and generally I think I would like to be her. *nod*

Other than that, all I have to say is sorry for such an all over the place post but I cannot help myself ... I'M JUST SO HAPPY!!! Oh! And looking at affectations stunning '1x13: Sectionals' picspam I've decided I want to go through and make a picspam of my favourite Quinn moments because ... I have so many. She talked about not being able to look at anyone else other than Rachel or Will in a scene and I am EXACTLY like that about Quinn. She can just be in the back and all I can do it is look at her and her beautiful smile/face/awesomenes ... so yes. I feel as though that should be coming along. From ep 1-13 ... it's going to be epic.

I feel like that's enough for now though so I'll speak to you later lovelies!
